1- where are you from?

2- what do you do in the band?

My name’s Alex and I do vocals.

3- what are your upcoming projects?

We’re working on a couple splits, one that is definitely happening, and one we’re not sure about.

4- tell us something that we don’t know but should know about your band.

5- what bands do you like these days? what have you listened to today? Self Defense Family, For Want Of, and Fell To Low are what I’ve been listening to. Today I listened to Vitamin X. 

6- do you have friends in bands or who run labels/zines that we should
 know about?
I run Radical Friends and self release zines. My,friends Mark Chen (Kyeo Speaks) and Jordan Underwood also release zines from time to time. Bands you should know about are First Cousins, John Cota, and Ten Thousand Leagues.  

7- why are you in a band and what do you want to accomplish in said band? I’m in a band because music has been my life since I was six years old (I’ve played drums for 11 years, just not in this band). What I plan to accomplish is release as many Lester Freamon records as possible 

 8- how did you decide upon your band’s name? The other guys decided it. It’s a character from the HBO show “The Wire.” 

9- when was the last time you slept on a floor? January 2011 

 10- do you have anything more to say? Check out the band First Cousins, buy our new 7”, and read more zines and books. Also, big thanks for the interview, we love doing them
